HZCDuniversal’s zero-backlash jaw couplings are a three-piece assembly with a balanced design. The coupling consists of two hubs and an elastomeric insert called the “spider”.

Users can combine clamp-style and set screw hubs, with inch, metric, keyed, and keyless bore sizes ranging from 1/8″ to 1-1/4″ and 3mm to 32mm. This allows for a high level of customizability to meet various application requirements.

The polyurethane spider dampens impulse loads, minimizing shock to the motor and other sensitive components. HZCD offers the jaw couplings in three different durometer ratings, enabling designers to select the most suitable option for their specific application.

All of HZCD’s jaw couplings are carefully manufactured from select Chinese bar stock at their factory in China. They are produced under strict controls using proprietary processes, ensuring compliance with RoHS3 and REACH regulations.
