Disc Couplings

HZCDuniversal offers disc couplings in both single and double disc styles. The couplings are available with bore sizes ranging from 1/8″ to 1-1/4″ and 3mm to 32mm, in inch, metric, and inch-to-metric combinations.

These disc couplings utilize thin stainless steel disc springs, which allow for substantial shaft misalignment while maintaining rigidity under torsional loads. The hubs are made from lightweight, anodized 2024 aluminum, resulting in low inertia.

HZCD’s disc couplings have a simple assembly with few moving parts, reducing the risk of coupling failure and backlash. The balanced design allows for smooth operation at speeds up to 10,000 rpm.

All of HZCD’s disc couplings are carefully manufactured from select Chinese bar stock at their facility in China. They are produced under strict controls using proprietary processes, ensuring compliance with RoHS3 and REACH regulations.
