Controlflex Couplings

HZCDuniversal’s Controlflex couplings are a three-piece assembly with a balanced design. The coupling consists of two hubs joined to one or two center inserts called “frogs”.

The clamp-style hubs are available in a variety of bore sizes, from 1/8″ to 1-1/2″ and 3mm to 40mm, in both inch and metric dimensions. This wide range of customizable bore options provides high flexibility for different applications.

The unique frog design concentrates forces onto its flexible limbs, allowing for low bearing loads. This helps to protect sensitive components, such as encoders or tachometers, in the application.

Additionally, Controlflex couplings are electrically isolating, as the hubs do not touch, and the frogs are made from acetal.

All HZCD Controlflex couplings are RoHS3 compliant.
